Myths about health conditions can confuse or misguide people from taking the right treatment of their disease. Medical science is not about myths but about facts that are thoroughly researched, experimented and proven. We must not get carried away by the myths blindly and review it from the right perspective of present facts.
Shocking growth in heart disease and diabetes affecting young people who are in the early 20s has changed the older perception when these diseases were considered to be affecting people who are in 40s or 50s. It is another widespread myth, which says you need not check your cholesterol, blood sugar until you are 35. Today due to the changed work and lifestyle, doctors recommend getting a regular preventive checkup from the age of 25.
In order to prove all these myths wrong it is better to live healthily & safely. Stay fit with regular exercise, selecting right food and taking periodic health check-ups.
