Seasonal diseases arise due to the change in the environmental conditions during different seasons. Cold in winters, malaria in monsoon and diarrhoea in summer are some of the common examples that can cause havoc.
Keep abreast of the seasonal diseases that are spreading in your community and if possible, immunize yourself against them. In summers, avoid going out during afternoons or when the temperature is at its peak as it can cause a heat stroke. In winters, use pullovers and warm clothing to cover yourself. Cover your mouth and nose while coughing or sneezing. It prevents the spread of viruses. In monsoon, make sure there are no stagnant water bodies in your surroundings as they serve as a breeding ground for the mosquitoes. Some simple things like washing your hands before eating and using sanitizer is a healthy habit which can take care of these seasonal diseases.
