Are your laboratories and health centers accredited?

Yes, all our laboratories and centers in India are accredited by the NABL (National Accreditation Board of Testing and Calibration of Laboratories). NABL does audits every 2 years for the centers along with periodic internal audits.

How does home sample collection work?

Samples are collected from your home by a highly trained Phlebotomist. Phlebotomist visits your home at a time stated by you when you book the package. Our qualified Phlebotomists ensure the highest safety standards for blood sample collection from home along with proper Covid precautions.

To book a blood test at home, simply submit your details in the given booking form and book the package online.

Can I reschedule my laboratory checkup sample collection appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule your sample collection appointment by calling our customer care number 90490-22222, 24 hours before your scheduled time.

How long does it take to receive the checkup reports? 

Reports will be delivered on your registered email address within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your samples.

How do I prepare for my sample collection from home? 

Make sure that you read all the instructions mentioned in your package, like following the testing requirements of 10 to 12 hours of fasting. Our executive will let you know if there are any special instructions you need to follow. 

Do I need a prescription from a doctor to get the tests done?

A doctor’s prescription is not mandatory for booking a laboratory checkup package. You just need to book the package, submit your details in the booking form, and book an appointment time. 

Will I need to do anything to prepare for the test?

You don't need any special preparations for most blood tests. For some tests, you may need to fast (not eat or drink) for several hours before your test. We will let you know if there are any special instructions to follow.

Are there any risks in getting a blood test done?

The only side effects of blood tests are discomfort and bruising at the skin-site where the needle is pricked. These are minor issues that go away some time after the sample collection.

What are blood tests?

Blood tests help check certain diseases and conditions. They also help check the function of your organs and show how well treatments work. Specifically, blood tests can help doctors: 

  • Evaluate how well organs—such as the kidneys, liver, thyroid, and heart—are working 
  • Find out whether you have risk factors for heart disease 
  • Check whether medicines you're taking are working 
  • Assess how well your blood is clotting 

How long does it take to get test results?

Usually, blood test results are prepared in 24-48 hours. 

Where or how can I get tested?

To book a blood test at home, simply call submit your details in the booking form. 

How is a blood sample collected?

Sample for blood tests are drawn from a vein in your arm using a needle. Sometimes, a finger prick can also be required. The sample collection process is quick and easy.

Why do I need to fast before some tests? 

Fasting before your sample collection is important for ensuring that your test results are accurate. The vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates, and proteins from the foods you consume can impact your blood readings, thus impacting the results of your test.

Can I have coffee before my sample collection? 

Yes, but only black coffee/tea is suggested before a ‘fasting’ blood test. 

Will my tests be affected by diet or medications?

Take your prescription medications unless it is not mentioned in the instructions.

Regular checkups and a healthy lifestyle can help you in improving your health, therefore also your laboratory test results.
